Luxembourg and Dinant Full-Day Trip

Depart from the centre of Brussels in the morning on a comfortable air-conditioned coach and head southeast for 200km until you get to Luxembourg.

Upon arrival, your professional guide will lead you through the upper and lower parts of the city.

Explore the historic centre in the upper part of the city and admire the Cathedral Notre-Dame and the Place d’Armes (Arms Square), the capital’s main square. Then, admire the Wenceslaus Wall, Neumünster Abbey, and the main fortifications established near the Alzette River.

Before you leave Luxembourg, you’ll have time to have lunch, have a coffee and buy souvenirs at your own leisure.

Hop back on the bus and as you make your way to Dinant, enjoy the views of Les Ardennes, one of the most charming areas of Belgium and all of Europe. Here, in between the rocky massifs is embedded in the city of Dinant, a picturesque town built on the banks of the River Meuse. The city is renowned because the first saxophone was created here.

In Dinant, you’ll enjoy the views of the Citadel (an imposing fortress erected on the Rocher Bayard, an impressive rock that surrounds the city). Next, you’ll visit Notre Dame de Dinant, a charming Romanesque church which has become a symbol of Wallonia. Then, you’ll cross the Charles De Gaulle Bridge decorated with multicoloured saxophones inspired by the colours of the EU member states.

After visiting the Meuse Valley, you will drive back to Brussels, where you will arrive at around 9 pm. The tour comes to an end in the Grand Place, next to the cathedral.
