Brujas y Gante preciosas. Cómo nos alegramos de haber hecho ésta excursión. Aunque si hubiese tenido más días, las hubiese hecho por separado porque merece la pena dedicarle más tiempo para perderse por sus calles. Pero sin duda, la joya del día fue nuestro guía Juan Antonio. Que alegría haber coincidido con él. Que manera de explicar todo con alegría y simpatía. Bruges and Ghent are beautiful. We're so glad we took this tour. Although if I'd had more time, I would have done them separately because it's worth spending more time wandering the streets. But without a doubt, the highlight of the day was our guide, Juan Antonio. What a joy to have met him. What a cheerful and friendly way of explaining everything. The long day gave us a taste of Bruges and Ghent, which was what we wanted/expected. The the canal boat tour option in Bruges is fraught. We waited in line for 35 minutes for the 30 minute tour. It would have helped if we had a "skip the line" ticket. We only had about 1 hour of free time in Bruges, so this saw us racing to meet the timing for the bus departure. I would NOT recommend the canal boat tour option. We did not have time to taste chocolate in "the artisinal home" of chocolate!!!

Excursión muy completa pero un poco estresante si coges el barco ya que tuvimos que esperar y el recorrido fue de 35 minutos y la guía se extendió un poco, el resultado fue que no tuvimos nada de tiempo libre en la ciudad de Brujas y que por suerte pudimos comprar unas patatas y comerlas mientras acudíamos al autocar de regreso. Nos faltó poder entrar en alguna de las múltiples chocolaterías,en alguna iglesia, hacer fotos tranquilamente, nos faltó tiempo libre!!
