Belgian Beer & Chocolate Tour
Embark on a fascinating tour of Brussels, where we'll delve into the captivating world of beer and chocolate. We'll visit local establishments and learn about the art of brewing that makes Belgian beer so exceptional.
Description
At the designated time, we'll meet up at Grand Place and set off on a journey to learn about the rich history and significance of Belgian beer. Prepare your taste buds for a unique experience as we indulge in rare and exquisite beers!
Throughout the tour, we'll visit three bars, each offering a unique perspective on the country's beer culture. In a typical Belgian bar, we'll be able to taste the renowned Trappist beer–a rare type of beer with only 13 varieties worldwide. Belgium proudly produces nearly half of them. We'll learn about the distinctive qualities that make Trappist beers so exceptional. You'll also get to taste another local beer while gaining insights into the brewing techniques and different beer types.
Before the tour's done, you'll be equipped with the confidence to step into a Belgian bar and browse through an extensive menu, embracing the true Belgian spirit and knowing exactly what to order.
But that's not all! Do you have a sweet tooth? Belgium also stands out for its delicious chocolate. Along the tour, you'll learn to recognize and appreciate the finest chocolates Belgium has to offer. Unveil the secrets of this rich treat and become a connoisseur, knowing exactly where to find the best chocolates and understanding their unique qualities.
Our tour will conclude at the iconic Delirium Tremens Brewery, where our 2.5-hour beer and chocolate adventure will come to an end.
